We are SO proud to introduce you to Kylee Lowdon, our Student Nurse-Midwife!

 

Kylee Lowdon, RNC-OB, BSN, SNM

 

Kylee Lowdon is a Student Nurse-Midwife(SNM)  at Frontier Nursing University. She grew up in Chandler, Arizona, and lives in Ahwatukee with her husband and 3-year-old son. Kylee completed her nursing degree at Northern Arizona University. She has worked in labor and delivery since that time, and received her Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB). She is also a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. Kylee knew that she wanted to work in women’s health early on, but it was not until her maternity course and clinical rotation in nursing school that she found her passion for pregnancy and childbirth. Ultimately her realization was that she wanted to help provide women and their families with the highest level of education and care possible, establish trusting relationships, and support their wishes for their desired birth experience; this led her to midwifery. She loves the privilege of being able to support women during their birth, and watching families grow; as such, she is very excited and honored to be learning with Connie and the team at the Babymoon Inn birth center!
