Having been a nurse for over 13 years, Amy Lebbon is thrilled to be at Babymoon Inn in an environment that supports and normalizes natural birth.  Amy has spent the majority of her nursing career in labor and delivery but has also worked with postpartum moms, both as a nurse and as a lactation consultant.  Amy is currently working on her midwifery degree through Frontier Nursing University.  As a birth assistant at Babymoon Inn, Amy enjoys working with moms who embrace natural birth and with a team of people who all have a common goal to provide exemplary prenatal care and a positive birth experience.  Amy says, “I absolutely love it here!  The energy is very positive, calm, and just nice.”

Amy has been married to her husband, Cameron, for 15 years and is a mother of four beautiful children, ages 4 to 12.  She credits her first birth with a midwife for shaping her philosophy about birth.

Annie Rueb, Birth Assistant

Annie Rueb says she has found her dream job as a birth assistant at Babymoon Inn.  Annie is an RN with a background as a home health nurse, but she has always had a passion for moms, babies, and birth.  Annie feels strongly about letting women know about all their options for pregnancy, birth, and beyond. “From prenatal care, to natural childbirth, to breastfeeding,” she says, “I just don’t think women know what’s out there.”  Annie is looking forward to meeting more great Babymoon Inn families and assisting at births soon!

Annie and her husband, Sam,  are the proud parents to 14-month-old Kai, who was born naturally with the help of midwives.

Diana Petersen, Doula, Admin/Marketing

Diana Petersen knew the moment she walked into Babymoon Inn that she wanted to be a part of this team and help support women seeking natural birth.  Diana is a doula and certified lactation educator and has been humbled and inspired by the amazing women who birth at Babymoon Inn.  Diana feels strongly that women should be able to birth the way they choose with limited interventions, and she is passionate about informing women about their options for childbirth.  “If you want to give birth in a hospital, that’s great.  I just want you to know other options exist before you make that decision,” she says.

In addition to being a doula, Diana has degrees in journalism and education.  When she’s not attending births, she can be found at the Babymoon office planning Inn Mommies, writing blogs, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.

Diana has been married to her husband, Matt, for eight years and is the mother to an adorable son, Aaron, who turns two this month.
